Delivering food to those who find themselves in crisis
Food poverty is not just about hunger, it is about not having enough money to provide the essentials and addressing that financial difficulty
Here to Help
In a bid to combat food poverty, we provide compassionate, practical support to people in crisis so they have the life skills they need to resolve the issues they are facing and reduce the likelihood of them having to rely on a foodbank in the future.
Everyone’s experience of food poverty is unique and it is vital that people receive tailored, dignified support. By working in partnership with the South Eastern Regional College and Ards and North Down Borough Council we offer a range of important food services that can transform the lives of those in need.

Our Services

Thanks to the culinary talents of the SERC team, individuals will be inspired how to transform the contents of their emergency food supplies into a selection of delicious meals.
Individuals will be invited to attend cooking sessions at the BFCS ‘demonstration kitchen’ in person or take part virtually through on-line classes.
